On 7 October 1994, he returned to the club, playing for Boca Juniors, making his debut against Colón (SF) (1-0). He remained with Boca for two years before retiring from football at the end of the Super League against River Plate on 25 October 1997.
Unlike the store shirts, this shirt doesn't have the "Maradona" writing under the number 10, furthermore in the store shirts the label in the collar was square and the emblem on the chest was sewn, unlike the match shirts where it is in flock.
