Brescia calcio

Brescia Calcio, is an Italian football club based in the city of Brescia. Milita in Serie B, the second division of the Italian league.

Founded in 1911, the club ranks fifteenth in the ranking of the Italian sports tradition according to the criteria of the FIGC and holds records of total participation and consecutive participation in the Serie B championships. Among the twenty-three Serie A championships disputed, Brescia’s best result was eighth at the end of the 2000-01 season.

He won a Friendship Cup in 1967 and an Anglo-Italian Cup in 1994; he also participated in two UEFA Intertoto Cup tournaments, and a final in 2001.

Among the most famous players who have played for Brescia are Roberto Baggio (winner of the Ballon d'Or 1993), Pep Guardiola, Gheorghe Hagi and the world champions Alessandro Altobelli, Andrea Pirlo and Luca Toni.
