Juventus FC

Juventus Football Club, better known as Juventus is an Italian soccer club based in the city of Turin. Founded in 1897 by a group of local high school students, Juve, as it is colloquially abbreviated, is the second longest-running professional club among those still active in the country, after Genoa (1893); it is the most titled and with the greatest sporting tradition as well as one of the most emblazoned in the world with 70 official trophies won during its militancy at the top of the national sporting pyramid, including the record of 36 titles as champions of Italy and 11 in UEFA competitions. He participates in Serie A, Italy's top league, in which he has taken part steadily since his debut in 1900, with the exception of the 2006-2007 season. After debuting in a Rosanero uniform, it adopted today's black-and-white playing outfit in the early 1900s.
